In regards to her highly anticipated project release, Tokyo tells RESPECT MAG, “I took a small break, but now it’s time for me to pop back ‘OUTSIDE’, have fun, enjoy life and get back to myself. As a woman being back ‘OUTSIDE’ to me means you’ve bounced back from whatever and wherever it is you’re coming back from… a breakup, a new baby, weight loss… whatever it is, you’re back and feeling like yourself. So we OUTSIDE!”

Tokyo Jetz, who recently gave birth to her son Amir, also spoke on her future plans to balance motherhood and her music career in Rolling Out magazine. When discussing her adjustment back into music, Jetz says, “It’s a lot to adjust to, especially for a first-time mom, but luckily I have a really good support system. My sister lives in Florida, but she came up to Atlanta, and my hairstylist helps me a lot, of course, but I have a really good support system. So, whenever I’m not able to manage this and being a mom at the same time, they always step in.”
